Tim became a freelance Architectural Photographer in 1989 after graduating in Civil & Structural Engineering in Nottingham followed by a 3 year part-time course in Photography at Kingsway College in London whilst working for a technical recruitment agency. Early in his career he was sucessful in winning a national professional architectural photography competition and has subsequently gone on to work with many leading architectural, engineering and property companies. Based in London, his work has taken him throughout the UK and Europe. Tim has been a member of VIEW Pictures Architectural Photo Library since 2000 Digital versus Analogue Workflow There are still a few people who are using film but to all intents and purposes it's become a specialist 'art' medium. The advantages of digital workflow far outweigh the benefits of film in the small & medium corporate sector. Frankly, I haven't touched a film in over two years and I'm not really missing it. By the same token, my clients are getting superior quality digital files which offer them more versatile usage. Although the work rate in images per day is quicker, the post-production image management is more time-consuming and that's the new trade-off.
